Recent research suggests that a mother’s nutritional status during, AND before, pregnancy is one of the most powerful influences on a child’s lifelong health.
In fact, some researchers now believe the 9 months of pregnancy are the most consequential period of our lives, permanently influencing the wiring of the brain and the function of organs like the heart, liver and pancreas. Research also shows that the conditions we encounter in utero shape everything from our susceptibility to disease, to our appetite and metabolism, to our intelligence and temperament.
But pregnancy can be tough. Everything is suddenly different: your appetite, your sense of smell, your likes and dislikes, your body, even your hair looks different.
Many women struggle to figure out what to eat while pregnant. There are so many things you’re told not to do (ps – not all of these rules are true), and your taste buds often completely change. Cooking seems to be more of a chore instead of something you (used to) love to do.
Many women are emotional, tired, cranky and wondering when that “pregnancy glow” everyone is always talking about starts to shine.
Most of all – women want to make sure their baby is getting what he or she needs no matter what.

In a one-on-one pregnancy consultation, you will learn exactly what to eat for a healthy pregnancy, what lifestyle factors are important for nourishing you and your baby, what supplements are important to include (and why quality matters!), what specifics to focus on during each trimester, and many other critical factors to ensure a healthy, happy pregnancy and a well nourished baby and mama.
We will talk about alllll things pregnancy, and give you a chance to ask the questions you’ve been trying to figure out on your own, so you feel empowered and educated about your pregnancy.
Your eating habits before and during pregnancy affect your baby’s health as much – or even more – than any other single factor. Did you know that your baby’s body is built entirely from your nutrient reserves? Seriously. It’s all you, mama!
During pregnancy, the raw materials for the cells, organs, tissues, and fluids that make up your developing baby are uniquely supplied by your diet. The nine months that you spend growing and nurturing your baby are, by far, the most consequential period of their life. Those nine months permanently influence the wiring of their brain and the functioning of all their major organs. What you eat during pregnancy can impact your baby’s health, as well as your own, for decades to come.
An Initial Pregnancy Consultation is where we will start. This is where I will learn about your pregnancy, your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, dietary habits, recent lab work, supplements, medications, and more. We will dive into your current pregnancy journey – what you’re struggling with, where you need support, and allllll the questions you have!
After our initial consultation, I will email your customized pregnancy plan detailing the action steps we discussed. This will include what foods to eat, foods to avoid, brand recommendations, lifestyle modifications to incorporate and factors to stay away from, how to meal plan, grocery shop and eat out at restaurants, recommended lab tests, and a personalized pregnancy supplement protocol.
You will also have access to my extensive library of downloadable resources including: amazing recipes, meal ideas, snack ideas, shopping lists, cookbook recommendations, and so much more.
Ongoing follow-up consultations give us the opportunity to check in, troubleshoot areas you’re still struggling with, adjust what’s not working, talk about improvements & changes, and of course address any questions or concerns you have! This is also where we will go over any new lab work results and tweak your plan based on these.
Most women prefer regular check in’s because things can change FAST during pregnancy. What was working for you last week, might not even be an option for you anymore. And even with our best intentions, life happens. Things shift. Change shows up. And being pregnant means learning to surrender and trust our bodies more than any other time in our lives.
